Common Yellowthroat

Cheaters. While males are usually monogamous, females frequently use calls to attract other males for secret extra-pair affairs. During courtship, those cheating females show a strong preference for males with larger black face masks. Once they lay eggs, they never fly straight to their ground-level nests. Instead, they land nearby and walk through thick vegetation to hide the location.
