Back in 1981 I had just moved to San Diego, and didn’t have a job yet. I started a little motocross illustration company called Team Moto and this was one of the images I used on the flyer, along with a three-wheeler and a BMX bike.
Well, not soon after, I got hired by JT Racing USA full-time working with Marty Tripes in their Factory Rider retail store. And that was the end of Team Moto.
Decades later I recycled this image for M.O.T.M.X., Manitoba Oldtimers Motocross Association. Paul Mazurik has had me draw several T-shirt designs for their club and I truly appreciate it.
Doing work for Canadians qualifies me as “Internationally Famous”. 🙂 IYKYK
